After 15 years in traditional sherry and bourbon casks, part of the whisky is transferred to new French oak casks before being blended again with the other part. These casks from Limousin in France are normally used for cognac. On the nose, woody notes combine with floral aromas. Fruity and slightly sweet on the palate, with a medium-length finish.
