Carriage rides with the brewery horses
Meet our Feldschlösschen brewery horses
Horses are as much a part of Feldschlösschen as the beer itself.
Eight impressive Belgian horses are stabled at the Feldschlösschen brewery in Rheinfelden. Every day, our horses are “on tour”: they can be seen pulling a six-horse team at major events or delivering beer to restaurants in Rheinfelden with a two-horse team.
Treat yourself to a special experience: take a seat in one of our carriages and enjoy the pleasant breeze and the scenery around the brewery. Choose one of our offers and look forward to an extraordinary experience around the Beer Castle.

Would you like to learn more about our brewery horses?
They are the heart and soul of Feldschlösschen—the majestic brewery horses. They have been part of the brewery since its founding: eight stately cold-blooded horses, six Belgian and two South German, housed in the castle stables on the brewery grounds. Cared for around the clock by four of the brewery’s own coachmen, they still make their way through the town of Rheinfelden once a week to deliver beer—just like in the old days.
