Kilbeggan Irish Whiskey has been produced since as early as 1757. The Old Kilbeggan Distillery was built in the town of the same name from the remains of a former monastery. Today, it is the world’s oldest licensed whiskey distillery and produces the barley spirit that bears its name. Double distillation gives Kilbeggan the characteristic smoothness of Irish whiskeys, along with its distinctive and harmonious flavor. On the palate, pronounced notes of peach, caramel, vanilla, and almond nougat emerge, accompanied by sweet malt tones.
