Swiss Beer Award – 15 awards for Feldschlösschen
At the Swiss Beer Award, the best beers in the country are recognised for their quality and taste. Thanks to the outstanding work of our experienced brewers, Feldschlösschen was able to receive the most awards with 15 distinctions. We are particularly proud of our apprentices – their two apprentice beers received a Gold and Silver award. Proof that our future is in the best of hands.
The Oscars night of the Swiss brewing scene
At the Trafohalle in Baden, on Thursday 16 April, this year’s «Oscars night of the Swiss brewing scene» took place. At the Swiss Beer Award, held every two years, beers submitted from across Switzerland and Liechtenstein are recognised. They are first tested in the laboratory and then evaluated sensorially in a blind tasting by recognised experts from the Swiss Beer Panel, beer sommeliers and brewers.
15 awards for Feldschlösschen and Valaisanne
More than 530 beers participated in this year’s Swiss Beer Award. We were able to impress most convincingly with the beers from our two breweries Feldschlösschen and Valaisanne through high brewing art: a total of 4 Gold, 4 Silver, 2 Bronze medals and 5 Anthracite distinctions were brought home.
Our apprentices shine
A particular reason to rejoice is the strong performance of our current and former apprentices Thomas, Till, Florian and Fynn. Their two apprentice beers Feldschlösschen Amber Ale and Feldschlösschen Nullkommanix (available in stores next week) were awarded Gold and Silver. A sign of our brilliant future.
